Topic Scope
Climate change has become a defining political and economic issue and is likely to remain so for many years to come. Around the world, governments, investors and corporations are beginning to take action in response to the climate crisis, paying particular attention to green economy and decarbonization strategies. The transition to a low-carbon development model of national economies will require a significant amount of non-traditional sources of investment, especially in the form of green finance to support activities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help corporations adapt to the impacts of climate change. In turn, the change in the modern paradigm of environmental thinking leads to the reorganization of business processes and the need to transform economic systems in the context of the concepts of a green economy and balanced sustainable development.
In this regard, it is advisable to search for innovative tools and scientifically based “green” solutions, as well as the introduction of fundamentally new organizational and management approaches and “green” technologies to increase the efficiency of economic systems at various levels.
This issue encourages submissions of articles discussing these topics, considering the economic, financial, investment, and management aspects of the green transformation of economic systems in the context of climate change and global environmental challenges.
