We sincerely welcome Dr. Paterne A. Agre from Headquarters and West Africa Hub PMB 5320, Oyo State, Nigeria, to join the Editorial Board of Recent Progress in Sciences. Dr. Paterne Agre is a Molecular Breeding Scientist at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Ibadan, Nigeria. He specializes in applying bioinformatics and molecular tools to support yam breeding. Dr. Agre has expertise in plant breeding, data analysis, database management, genomic prediction and selection, QTL linkage, and trait association mapping. He enjoys writing manuscripts and has co-authored over 80 articles, including book chapters. Currently, Dr. Agre serves as a board member of BMC Plant Biology and a guest editor in Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems. We appreciate Dr. Paterne A. Agre for his participation and support.
