We sincerely welcome Prof. Dr. Midhat Talibi from University College London, Torrington Place, London, United Kingdom, to join the Editorial Board of Recent Progress in Sciences. Midhat Talibi's research focus is on experimental combustion and alternative energy vectors (hydrogen, ammonia, e-fuels) across a range of energy systems. His PhD on hydrogen-diesel combustion was followed by post-doctoral research on novel fuels for ultra-low emission ICEs and hydrogen-enriched fuels for low emission GTs. He was the research engineer on an Innovate UK project, investigating hydrogen-diesel co-combustion. He currently holds the prestigious UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship, and is working with industry to develop hydrogen technologies for power generation and aero-space propulsion applications. He is also a Co-I in the EU H2020 HYFLEXPOWER project which is establishing the world’s first power-X-power demonstrator plant using hydrogen GT. His paper featured in IJHE’s 25 most downloaded papers (2015-2019). He is also an advisory member of the EPSRC Engineering Early Career Forum. We appreciate Prof. Dr. Midhat Talibi for his participation and support.
