Recent Progress in Sciences Welcomes New Editorial Board Member

We sincerely welcome Prof. Dr. Daniel T. Cotfas from Transilvania University of Brasov, Brasov, to join the Editorial Board of Recent Progress in Sciences. Prof. Dr. Daniel Tudor Cotfas is licensed in mathematics and physics and currently works at Electronics and Computers Department, from Transilvania University of Brasov. He obtained his PhD in 2008 and from 2020 he is professor. His research domain is renewable energy especially photovoltaic systems (cell and panels) and their hybridisation. He has authored and co-authored 80+ publications in international journals, conference papers, books and book chapters, and one patent and one patent application. He earned three awards at the international contest “National Instruments Graphical System Design Achievement Awards” and a gold medal EUROINVENT 2015 – The 7th European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation obtained with Developing a Renewable Energy Laboratory Using NI ELVIS, NI LabVIEW, and NI myDAQ.  He was project manager for 5 international projects and 2 national projects and a member in over 12 projects.
