Advance in Cells Welcomes New Editorial Board Member

We sincerely welcome Dr. Suresh Babu Naidu Krishna from Durban University of Technology, Durban, South Africa, to join the Editorial Board of Advances in Cells. Since his career began, he has optimized and developed scientific methods for rapid antimicrobial resistance (AMR) diagnosis and conducted numerous studies to better understand nanoparticle applications in biomedical science. His current projects focus on enhancing the use of nanoparticles in human health to efficiently address non-communicable diseases. This involves utilizing nanotechnology to enhance the effectiveness of antimicrobial agents and drug delivery using bioactive compounds (natural products). The research also involves studying the sensitivity of nanoparticles, synthesizing nanoparticles for biomedical purposes and conducting processes such as isolation, purification, characterization, and optimization He is currently a registered member of the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) as a natural scientist; a member of the Royal Society of South Africa (MRSSAf); the South African Society for Microbiology (SASM); and the South African Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SASBMB). He is Co-PI in the SA UK Newton Fund Antibiotic Accelerator Initiative (2020-2025). Dr Krishna’s collaborations with international researchers have significantly advanced the field of nanotechnology. He holds a strong passion for providing research training and guidance to students and academics with regards to research ethics and article writing. We appreciate Dr. Suresh Babu Naidu Krishna for his participation and support.
